Trailblaza submitted this mixtape to me weeks ago. I sat on it gave it a few listens and feel it's worthy of a post. Trailblaza is out of Atlanta and his style is unique for his region. Recently, a lot of ATL acts have branched out and are experimenting with new sounds. Sonically, this mixtape works. It has upbeat tracks like Dreams, Bright Lights, and Shining as well as a cool, epic track in Air Force Won. His rhymes work too. Trailblaza has a composed flow that complements his content. From the lyrics to beat selection he shows promise, not to mention a B.O.B. feature doesn't hurt. The song Bright Lights reminds me a lot of Kid Cudi though. It knocks though.
Highlights: Dreams, Bright Lights, Air Force Won, Runnin, Hard Times and Shining
