Wesley Mapes + Rap Math = Great

I'm going to have to start up a Nicky Free's True Hollywood Stories or something because I've just been reminded about an experience that must be documented. After reading Isa's post on Hip-Hop instructional video's by white people, I remembered my best friend Wesley Mapes was in one in the early 90s. It was called, "Rap Math". In this video, you see a young inspiring Wesley in awe of the instructor's skills. We used to show this video at his parties to make people laugh. I'm going to go to his parent's house, take the video which is still in the playhouse probably, and transfer the VHS to computer, and maybe then, I can wreak havoc.

This video, "Hip Hop Tables" reminds me of an updated video where Black youth are consulted. I'm pretty sure Wes and Morgan were the only Black kids in "Rap Math". Enjoy.

As you can see, I'm a product of Rap Math. Wesley Mapes was my instructor.

Don't forget that the producer of the track bigs himself up in a rap instructional video (what am I doing as a producer? I have to step it up).
