Coming Soon :: The Nick James Plays Project

Since I love marketing, I'm always seeking ways to keep listeners up to date but also invested in my music. Thus, while looking through my Blue Note vinyl collection I came across a series they have employed for years when innovation amongst their roster was/is minimal. The Blue Note Plays series. This series would place their artist roster and cover The Beatles, Stevie Wonder, Gerswhin, or even Prince.

I figured since I always remix, I shouldn't bombard people anymore with an entire remix project like what I did with Jay-Z or the Nas Remixes. What happens is people will knock it but move on to the next thing because they have to. Dropping a remix single will build interest in a far more effective way.

Included in each download file will be the remix, instrumental, accapella, original sample, and possibly a remix video. At the end of this process, I will release Nick James Plays...The Collection.
